Little Change in World Bean MarketVANCOUVER - May 19/06 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets were little changed on the week, as many market participants were in India for the annual CICILS international pulse conference. Enough traders were at the meeting to limit overall activity. Trading interest was already slowing in markets as importers and exporters assess the developing crop situation in Argentina and try to get a handle for seeding progress in Canada and the United States. Harvesting of this year's white alubia bean crop is just getting underway in Argentina and is expected to become general in two to three weeks.
