French Field Pea Exports Remain Low
VANCOUVER - May 16/06 - SNS -- Field pea exports from France remained below year earlier levels in March, according to data compiled by the Union Nationale Interprofessionnelle des Plantes Riches en Proteines (UNIP).
This is the 22nd consecutive month in which exports in the latest month under review were below year earlier levels.
Shipments to all destinations in March totalled 35,735 metric tons (MT), lifting the marketing year to date export total to 322,435 MT, down from 428,025 in the same nine-month period of the 2004-05 marketing campaign.
