Canada's Weekly Crush Plunges
WINNIPEG - May 12/06 -- STAT -- The Canadian Oilseed Processors Association (COPA) reports weekly crush in that country totalled 50,341 metric tons (MT) of canola and 23,072 of soybeans during the week ending May 10.
The numbers, as reported to the association by member firms, show canola crush sank 21.5%, for a third weekly decline. Soybean crush fell 8.1%, for a second week of decreased crush.
