Australian Livestock Auction Action FallsSYDNEY - May 12/06 - SNS -- Livestock sold through online auctions managed by AuctionsPlus Pty Ltd feel during the past week on declines in sheep, lamb and cattle offerings. Throughput for the week totalled 14,788 sheep and lambs, down from 19,721 head the previous week. The number of cattle put through the company's auctions totalled 2,392, compared to 4,301 last week. "It's time to batten down the hatches for a rough few months but think how much better (price wise) we are today than yesteryear," AuctionsPlus's Dean Lemmich said.
