Philippine Coconut Product Exports DownWASHINGTON - May 9/06 - SNS -- Philippine coconut oil and copra meal exports sank 17.9% and 49.8% below year earlier levels in January, according to data assembled by the U.SA. agricultural attache for the country. There were no copra exports during the period. Average export asking prices in January were U.S. $515.55 MT for coconut oil, down 17.87% from $627.76 in 2005; while average asking prices for Copra Meal were $36.19 MT, down 49.76% from $72.03 MT last year.
