Canada's Weekly Exports Total 655,800 MTWINNIPEG - May 5/06 - STAT -- Export clearances of all grains and oilseeds shipped from Canada total 19,139,200 metric tons (MT) so far this marketing year up 3,656,800 MT from the 15,482,400 moved last year. The latest report from the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) summarized weekly product movement through licensed primary and terminal elevator facilities for the week ending April 30. Grower deliveries during the week included 323,400 MT of wheat; 99,400 MT of durum; 24,700 MT of oats; 73,500 MT of barley; 17,000 MT of flax; 223,200 MT of canola; 39,400 MT of peas; and 1,000 MT of corn. The CGC pegged total exports during the week at 655,800 MT. On the grain side this included including 373,700 MT of wheat; 141,800 MT of durum; 4,500 MT of oats; 1,800 MT of barley; and no corn.
