Jump in Malaysian Palm Oil Production
KUALA LUMPUR - May 1/06 - SNS -- The Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) reports total crude palm oil (CPO) production rose 18% to 1.2 million metric tons (MT) in March.
While output in the Peninsula Malaysia increased by 18%, East Malaysia's production rose 19%. Compared to March 2005, output during March 2006 was only 2% higher.
