Few Changes in ChickpeasVANCOUVER - Apr 21/06 - SNS -- Markets ended a relatively quiet week with few changes recorded in major markets and for the major classes of beans traded. Some firmness in desi chickpea markets was noted during the week, with the Canadian situation helped by tight supplies on account of sharply reduced production levels in recent years. The demand outlook for the commodity has been helped by a steep reduction in the size of Pakistan's chickpea harvest.
