Feed Peas Finish StrongVANCOUVER - Apr 21/06 - SNS -- International feed pea markets ended the week on a strong note, lead higher by solid increases in European feed pea and feed bean markets during the past week. Spring flooding is a concern in parts of the European growing area; while generally firmer soybean and corn markets contributed to the market tone. Those markets now realize bird flu is not having as much impact on poultry demand and therefore feed usage levels as first thought. At the same time, demand for grains and vegetable oil for fuel production is rising, while the market value of ethanol and bio-diesel is increasing because of stronger diesel and gasoline markets.
