Firmer Finish For LentilsVANCOUVER - Apr 21/06 - SNS -- Lentil markets finished the week on a firmer note for all classes in response to continued strength in the Canadian dollar and limited selling by growers. While Canadian inter-dealer markets were up on the week, grower markets for both green and red lentils were mostly unchanged. Markets in the United States received modest support form the latest USDA PL-480 food aid tender, which is seeking offers of 2,030 metric tons (MT) of product for shipment in June.
