Frozen Vegetable Inventory SlidesWASHINGTON - Apr 21/06 - SNS -- Frozen vegetable supplies fell 9% during March to finish the month at almost 1,709 million pounds, down 3% from the previous year, according to the USDA's latest report on agricultural products in cold storage. Compared to the previous month, stocks of broccoli spears, spinach, onions rings, and southern greens were up. Compared to last year, stocks of asparagus, lima beans, brussels sprouts, okra and green peas were down. Supplies of potatoes in cold storage were higher, rising 1% on the month to 1,159 million pounds, up 66 million pounds from the previous year.
