USDA Tenders for 4,520 MT Pulses
KANSAS CITY - Apr 19/06 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here is seeking offers of 4,520 metric tons (MT) of pulses for shipment in June.
Under terms of USDA PL-480 food aid tender Solicitation 056, the USDA is continuing to place a greater emphasis on peas and lentils than dry edible beans. Of the total volumes on the tender, lentils account for 44.9%; whole and split yellow peas 43.6% and dry edible beans 11.5%.
