Egg Use Rises in FebruaryWASHINGTON - Apr 7/06 0 SNS -- The quantity of eggs used by food manufacturers in the United States in February rose 3% above year earlier levels to 159 million dozen, according to the USDA, but were 4% below the 166 million broken last month. During calendar year 2006 through February, shell eggs broken totaled 325 million dozen, up 3 percent from the 315 million dozen broken in the comparable period in 2005.
