Canada's Weekly Exports Total 611,500 MTWINNIPEG - Apr 7/06 - STAT -- Export clearances of all grains and oilseeds shipped from Canada total 16,664,100 metric tons (MT) so far this marketing year up 2,767,300 MT from the 13,896,800 moved last year. The latest report from the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) summarized weekly product movement through licensed primary and terminal elevator facilities for the week ending April 2. Grower deliveries during the week included 272,500 MT wheat; 71,600 MT durum; 23,400 MT oats; 60,700 MT barley; 7,700 MT flax; 187,700 MT canola; 31,900 MT peas; and 2,200 MT corn. The CGC pegged total exports during the week at 611,500 MT . On the grain side this included including 370,500 MT wheat; 56,700 MT durum; 22,500 MT oats; 800 MT barley; 21,600 MT flax; and no corn.
