USDA Tenders for 500 MT Lentils
KANSAS CITY - Apr 5/06 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here is seeking offers of 500 metric tons (MT) of lentils for shipment for prepositoning in Gulf ports for future food aid needs.
Under terms of USDA PL-480 Solicitation 046A, the USDA expects to buy lentils packed in 50 kg bags for shipment between May 21 and June 12 for inland plants and between June 12 and July 5 for plants located at port.
Offers are due April 18 for reply the following day.
