Domestic shipment: Offers, fob mills, milled rice, spot prices, dollars per
cwt, bagged. (All milled rice grade No 2 not to exceed 4 percent brokens,
except California grade No 1. All second heads grade No 4 or better, second
head and brewers are bulk.)

Domestic Situation
Domestic milled rice price quotes were steady. By-products were mostly steady
in the south, steady in California.
In the south, long grain rice quotes were steady, quoted mostly at 17.00-
17.25; medium grain was steady, quoted mostly at 22.00-23.00; parboiled rice was
steady, quoted mostly from 18.00-19.00; second heads were steady, quoted mostly
at 10.00-11.00; brewers were steady, quoted mostly at 9.00-10.00. Rice by-
products: Offers for rice bran were mostly steady, instances 1.00 higher;
millfeed was steady; hulls were steady, instances 4.00 higher. Price quotes for
bran in Arkansas and Louisiana were mostly at 45.00-48.00.
In California, medium grain milled rice quotes were steady, ranging mostly
from 23.00-23.00; short grain was steady; second heads were steady; brewers were
steady. Rice bran was steady; rice hulls were steady.
