Little Impact From Seeding IntentionsVANCOUVER - Mar 31/06 - SNS -- North American dry edible bean markets were little affected by the USDA seeding intentions report released Friday as it contained no surprises. If the United States experiences average yields this season, production will be down slightly from last year, generating about as many beans as the market seems to be asking for. This will keep processors focussed on domestic markets, which tend to a pay a premium to export, where there is stiff competition from China, Myanmar and eastern European suppliers in the markets generally served by the United States.
