U.S. Cotton Ginnings Remain Up
WASHINGTON - Mar 22/06 - SNS -- Cotton ginnings are running 2.8% ahead of year earlier levels through the end of February, according to the latest USDA report.
Ginnings of all cotton have advanced from 23,239,900 bales last year to 23,888,200 bales this year. So far this crop year, 629,600 bales of Pima have been ginned, down from 744,800 bales last year.
