Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 13,670 MT
KANSAS CITY - Mar 21/06 - STAT -- The quantity of peas and lentils covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 149,320 MT, compared to 109,910 MT last year.
Purchases of green peas are down 1,900 MT at 20,100 MT versus 22,000 MT last season. Food aid demand for U.S. regular lentils is up 31,360 MT from last year's 38,420 MT.
