Chickpeas Transitioning to New Crop
VANCOUVER - Mar 17/06 - SNS -- International chickpea markets are transitioning into a new crop footing in the face of Mexican harvest activity.
Markets have been starving for merchandise after experiencing months of tight stocks in Mexico and elsewhere.
Canadian shippers, for instance, are mostly sold out and while some material will become available after seeding, exporters are focusing attention on new crop shipping positions.
