Bottoming Action in LentilsVANCOUVER - Mar 17/06 - SNS -- North American lentil markets finished a tough week on a steadier note as growers showed an increased unwillingness to continue supporting markets. While bids for top grade lentils were mostly steady, off grade bids collapsed during the week, mirroring declines in export asking prices. Falling bids seemed to drive away growers, who believe they lock in losses on their remaining production is they sell at current levels.
