USDA Tenders for 3,560 MT Peas
KANSAS CITY - Mar 9/06 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here is seeking offers of 3,560 metric tons (MT) of whole green peas for shipment in April.
The quantity of peas included on the invitation is equivalent to the quantity not bought under terms of invitation 038.
In announcing results of the tender results yesterday, the USDA said it did not buy 1,540 metric tons (MT) of yellow peas because there were no offers. At the same time, the USDA rejected offers on 1,810 MT of yellow peas, 100 MT of yellow split peas, and 110 MT of green peas "due to price."
