Few Changes in BeansVANCOUVER - Feb 24/06 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets finished the week with virtually no changes recorded in North America. The spot market index finished the week unchanged at 719 points in dealer markets and 620 for grower level beans. The spot market index is above the season to date average of 714 points; while the grower index finished below the season to date average of 632 points. The latest USDA PL-480 food aid tender offered markets no inspiration, including a request for just 300 metric tons (MT) of pinto beans and 260 MT of small red beans.
