USDA Buys for 500 MT Lentils
KANSAS CITY - Feb 23/06 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here confirmed the purchase of 500 metric tons (MT) of lentils for shipment to the Angola.
Under terms of USDA PL-480 food aid tender invitation 026C, the USDA paid an average $13.13 per 100 pounds (cwt) on a delivered dock basis between March 21 and April 12 for U.S. lentils packed in 50 kg bags.
