Butter Lifts Dairy Product Stocks Higher
WASHINGTON - Feb 21/06 - SNS -- Stocks of dairy products rose in January, according to the USDA's latest report on agricultural products in cold storage.
Supplies of butter nearly doubled from the previous month to 114.6 million pounds, up 48% from a year ago.
Stocks of cheese slipped 2% during the month to 743 million pounds, up 4% from the previous year.
