Iran Confirms H5N1 Virus On Caspian CoastCHICAGO - Feb 14/06 - SNS -- Government official in Iran have confirmed the highly pathogenic H5N1 virus of bird flu killed 135 swans on the Iranian part of the Caspian Sea coast. Government officials were quick to stress that the virus had not spread to domestic flocks. Iran's Veterinary Organization stressed, "All bird products offered under Health Ministry regulations in the country are not dangerous to humans."
