Canada's Weekly Crush Jumps
WINNIPEG - Feb 3/06 -- STAT -- The Canadian Oilseed Processors Association (COPA) reports weekly crush in that country totalled 67,702 metric tons (MT) of canola and 29,323 of soybeans during the week ending February 1.
The numbers, as reported to the association by member firms, show canola crush rose 13.2%, ending three weeks of declining activity. Soybean crush rose 6.0%, for a fourth week of rising activity.
