Germany Restricts Farm PoultryLONDON - Feb 3/06 - SNS -- The German government has ordered that all farm birds must be kept indoors after March 1 to prevent the spread of bird flu by migrating fowl, especially the H5N1 strain which has been known to infect and kill people. The measure is expected to last for two months. Similar restrictions were imposed during the autumn migratory season.
