Noble Buys ConAgra's JOGCO
HONG KONG - Feb 2/06 - SNS -- Noble Group Limited has purchased ConAgra Foods' entire equity interest in Jordan Grain Handling and Milling Company Ltd. (JOGCO).
With this acquisition Noble and Hammoudeh Group have become joint venture partners in JOGCO. Hammoudeh Group is a leader in agribusiness, food manufacturing, and chemicals in the Middle East.
JOGCO owns an elevator and storage facility with annual capacity of 100,000 metric tons. The company is expected to significantly increase its presence in one of the world's fastest growing consumption areas for grains, protein meals, pulses, sugar, vegetable oils and other products within the Noble footprint.
