Edible Beans Mainly UnchangedVANCOUVER - Jan 27/06 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets were virtually unchanged on the week, as reflected in the spot market index for U.S. product, which finished down one point at 708. The index has averaged 713.6 points so far this marketing year, down from the previous five-year average of 741.4 and the previous 10-year average of 736.3 points. Markets are not reflecting worry about the size of the pending Mexican bean harvests, which some processors in the United States expecting significant increases in export shipments to that country this season.
