Argentine Popcorn Heats UpVANCOUVER - Jan 20/06 - SNS -- Argentina's popcorn and sunflower markets ended the week on a strong note against fears over a collapse in the size of this year's harvests. Popcorn market participants in the country say this year's seeded area was cut 30% in response to low prices and building stocks. However, poor weather has reduced the yield potential of the crops, leaving some industry participants expecting the harvest to drop by half.
