AIDS Drug From Sunflower?VANCOUVER - Jan 20/06 - SNS -- Sunflowers appear to contain the key to unlocking a remarkable new market niche, judging from work by scientists at the University of Bonn in cooperation with the Caesar Research Center. Sunflowers can produce a substance which prevents the AIDS pathogen HIV from reproducing, at least in cell cultures.
