Chickpeas Unchanged in Quiet Trade
VANCOUVER - Jan 13/06 - SNS -- International chickpea markets were little changed in quiet trading, though some North American shippers are showing greater interest in selling 2006 crop beans.
Interest is fueled by a general expectation of a higher seeded area in western Canada and parts of the United States as growers seek to take advantage of a second year of strong kabuli chickpea markets.
