Russia Plans Poultry Vaccination Campaign
KIEV - Jan 13/06 - APK -- Russia's State Sanitary Inspector Gennady Onishchenko was cited by Interfax news agency as saying that in spring this year mass vaccination of poultry will be started in country to prevent expansion of avian influenza.
"For this purpose 100 million doses of the vaccine will be allocated," he said.
He said that inoculations would be made for the most part in the European part of Russia and Siberia in April and May, when the poultry youths had been hatched.
