Canada's Weekly Exports Total 705,000 MTWINNIPEG - Jan 6/06 - STAT -- Export clearances of all grains and oilseeds shipped from Canada total 10,670,800 metric tons (MT) so far this marketing year up 1,375,600 MT from the 9,295,200 moved last year. The latest report from the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) summarized weekly product movement through licensed primary and terminal elevator facilities for the week ending January 1. Grower deliveries during the week included 413,700 MT wheat; 71,900 MT durum; 60,000 MT oats; 150,400 MT barley; 10,400 MT flax; 251,200 MT canola; 38,200 MT peas; and 1,300 MT corn. The CGC pegged total exports during the week at 705,000 MT . On the grain side this included including 327,800 MT wheat; 100,400 MT durum; 68,800 MT oats; 13,600 MT barley; 4,100 MT flax; and no corn.
