Columbia Grain Plans Elevator
NEW YORK - Jan 6/06 - SNS -- Columbia Grain Inc. plans to build a 110-car grain elevator along the Great Falls-to-Fort Benton branch railroad line this year.
The decision was welcomed by local farmers because the Fort Benton track was considered one of Montana's top 10 "at-risk" branch lines, partly because it lacked a high-speed elevator capable of filling 110 grain cars in less than 24 hours.
