Near Record Field Pea Shipments From CanadaVANCOUVER - Jan 4/06 - SNS -- Canada shipped near record quantities of field peas through bulk terminals at Thunder Bay and Vancouver in 2005, judging from data available from the Canadian Ports Clearance Association. Shipments through reporting terminals at Thunder Bay and Vancouver finished the year at almost 1.43 million metric tons (MT), the highest level since the 2001 calendar year, when port clearances topped 1.09 million MT.
