Birdseed Markets Quieten
VANCOUVER - Dec 16/05 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets remain relatively quiet, with many packagers cover through February.
An absence of news about avian influenza outbreaks allowed markets to push that potential issue to the back of the mind during the week.
It remains a long term concern, and while some birdseed packagers say it has become an issue for some of their customers, there is no evidence it has affected demand.
