Little Change in Food Pea MarketsVANCOUVER - Dec 16/05 - SNS -- Field pea markets finished the week little changed against seasonally slow buying interest and from both importers and exporters. Movement is expected to decline in December and January, but some traders believe it will quicken in February and March. Growers normally expect that to result in an improvement in bid levels, but it remains to be seen if pea inventories will drop to levels which force markets to begin increasing prices to ration supply over prospective demand.
