Australian Pulse Crop Estimate UnchangedSYDNEY - Nov 29/05 - SNS -- The Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics (ABARE) did not change the latest pulse crop estimates by the industry group Pulse Australia, which now provides most of the data used to develop official production levels in that country.. Total pulse production stands at an estimated 2.004 million metric tons (MT), up from ABARE's September prediction this season's harvest would not top 1.81 million MT. Output of all classes of pulses is up over last year, with lupins advancing from 891,000 to 951,900 MT; while peas advance from 321,000 to 372,000 MT; chickpeas from 116,200 to 125,500 MT; fababeans from 168,000 to 302,000 MT: and lentils from 95,000 to 169,000 MT.
