More Costly to Export to MexicoWASHINGTON - Nov 23/05 - SNS -- It became more expensive to ship grain the U.S. midwest to Mexico during the third quarter of 2005, according to the USDA's Transportation and Marketing Programs/Transportation Services Branch weekly Grain Transportation Report. "The cost of waterborne corn and soybean transport from Illinois to Guadalajara, Mexico, increased 9% during the third quarter compared to second quarter 2005," the USDA said.
