India Estimates 0.6% Lift in Kharif Pulses
VANCOUVER - Nov 18/05 - SNS -- The Indian government's first advance estimates of this year's kharif or summer pulse crops pegs production at 4.98 million metric tons (MT), up 30,000 MT from last year.
Interestingly, Canadian food pea exports to India and other countries in the region are up sharply over last year, reflecting strongly competitive prices versus other origins.
