Kabuli Chickpeas Try for New Highs
VANCOUVER - Nov 11/05 - SNS -- Chickpea markets are working on establishing new highs on account of limited supplies of good quality beans from Canada and tightening stocks in the United States and Mexico.
This saw Canadian markets finish the week with nominal values U.S.$1 per 100 pound (cwt) higher as processors and exporters maintain a defensive pricing posture against ongoing buying interest.
