Idrovo Named President, Dole Worldwide Packaged Foods
NEW YORK - Nov 11/05 - SNS -- Dole Food Company, Inc. promoted Javier H. Idrovo to President, Dole Worldwide Packaged Foods, to succeed Peter M. Nolan, who earlier announced his retirement.
Idrovo will report directly to Richard J. Dahl, President and Chief Operating Officer of Dole. Idrovo joined the Company in 2001 as Vice President of Strategy. He was promoted in 2004 to Senior Vice President of Strategy. In 2005, he was named Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Dole Worldwide Packaged Foods.
In other executive changes, Brad C. Bartlett was promoted to Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales, reporting to Idrovo.
Danko Stambuk was named Senior Vice President of Manufacturing, reporting to Idrovo. Stambuk's responsibilities will include worldwide sourcing, production, logistics and distribution for the division.
The Company announced the appointment of Allan M. Dicks to replace Idrovo. Dicks joined Dole in 2003 and was promoted to the position of Worldwide Controller for Dole Worldwide Packaged Foods in 2005. Prior to joining Dole, Dicks was with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
