Dairy Product Markets Generally Down
WASHINGTON - Nov 10/05 - SNS -- Dairy product markets in the United States were mainly down over the seven days ending November 5, shows today's USDA update.
Cheddar Cheese prices received for US 40 pound Blocks averaged $1.44 per pound. The price per pound decreased 1.4 cents from last week. The price for US 500 pound Barrels adjusted to 38% moisture averaged $1.41 per pound, down 0.3 cents from last week.
Butter prices received for 25 kilogram and 68 pound boxes meeting USDA Grade AA standards averaged $1.55 per pound. The U.S. price per pound decreased 6.1 cents versus last week.
Nonfat Dry Milk prices obtained for bag, tote and tanker sales meeting USDA Extra Grade or USPH Grade A standards averaged 98.8 cents per pound. The U.S. price per pound gained 0.6 cents compared to the previous week.
