Egg Use Rises in U.S.WASHINGTON - Nov 7/05 - SNS -- Food manufacturers used 6% more eggs in September than last year, with shell eggs broken totalling 178 million dozen down 1% from August, according to the USDA. During calendar year 2005 through September, shell eggs broken totaled 1.55 billion dozen, up 7% from the 1.44 billion dozen broken in the comparable period in 2004.
