Little Change in World Chickpeas
VANCOUVER - Nov 4/05 - SNS -- Holiday celebrations on the Indian subcontinent and much of the Middle East contributed to a quiet finish to the week's chick pea market.
Pakistan and other Muslim nations were closed the last half of the week for Eid al-Fitr celebrations, which mark the end of Ramadan, while India's markets were quiet on account of Diwali.
