Lentil Markets Maintain Balance
VANCOUVER - Nov 4/05 - SNS -- International lentil markets were little changed during the past week, with demand from buyers keeping pace with offers from growers and processors.
Red lentil markets were not affected by news this year's harvest in Australia will total at least 169,000 metric tons (MT). While up from last year, the projected harvest is not unusually large and no major problems selling the crop are expected.
