Ukraine Sugar Beet Harvest 15.5 MMTWASHINGTON - Oct 255/05 - SNS -- This year's sugar beet harvest in the Ukraine is expected to total 15.5 million metric tons (MT) from 674,000 hectares. While production is down one million MT from last year, higher yields mean the depth of decline is not as great as it might be, because improved yields are offsetting a decline in seeded area from 754,000 to 674,000 hectares.
