Red Meat Stocks IncreaseWASHINGTON - Oct 21/05 - SNS -- Total red meat supplies in freezers rose in September to 893.2 million pounds, up 1% from the previous year, notes the USDA in its latest report on agricultural products in cold storage. Frozen pork supplies rose 3% during the month to 427 million pounds, up 3% from the previous year. Stocks of pork bellies were down 37% from last month at 14 million pounds and up 23% from last year.
